Very pretty but too thin - elephant started falling apart on first use

If you plan to use it once - that's great - but I wanted to put these animals on my new beehive - did an elephant and mylar is so thin that the legs started bending and breaking. Too bad, because the animals are just beautiful. If they could make it a little thicker I would love it!
