So I got the small and it could have passed as a medium. I'm glad it's not tight and a little loose. (I'm 5.3 and 115 pounds). I've read that straps can be a problem because they often slip off. That's true, but luckily those straps are adjustable and you have the option of even wearing just a strapless skirt. But I solved the problem by adjusting the straps on the back and criss-crossing them on the buttons so you have a cross on the back. So far it's working but aside from the straps I LOVE this outfit and the color (I have burgundy/red) and will definitely be ordering it in black as well. Also consider Xsmall.
