Programming instructions wrong, high frustration!
I had to look for programming instructions on another site, then everything was fine. On my 2002 Toyota Solara near the end of the process it says: turn the key on and off, then remove it from the ignition -- it needs to be turned on and off TWICE, then carry on, good luck!
