Programming instructions wrong, high frustration!

I had to look for programming guides on another website then everything was fine. On my 2002 Toyota Solara towards the end of the process it says: turn key on then off then pull from ignition - turn on and off TWICE then carry on, good luck!

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Great replacement remote

Worked great but no instructions included

Worked great. My only complaint is that there were no programming instructions included with the kit, but I was able to quickly find a YouTube video that worked on the first try.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

I cannot activate this key. This vehicle is a.

Failed to activate this key. This car is standard and while activating this device I keep getting a beep. That may be the cause of the problem that I can't solve.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Does not work with anti-theft

No instructions sent. I followed the instructions here: put the key in the ignition, open and close the door, blah blah blah. It did not work. I don't see any other guide online anywhere. So I'm sending it back.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Programming instructions wrong, high frustration!

I had to look for programming instructions on another site, then everything was fine. On my 2002 Toyota Solara near the end of the process it says: turn the key on and off, then remove it from the ignition -- it needs to be turned on and off TWICE, then carry on, good luck!

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Not everything fits

This remote control does not work. I tried to program it and two different professionals tried to program it. He reset the locks first, but it wouldn't install. By the time I was done with the pros to get it working, my 30 day return period had expired. I'm stuck with 2 useless remotes. A locksmith said that every remote I received from Keyless2Go had the wrong size and quality of battery. Don't waste your time and money with this remote control.

  • Best
Cons
  • Quality

Start in 10 minutes!

I went to the dealership to inquire about a keyless remote for my 2004 Toyota Camry. They said we could order it (you have to pay up front of course) and they said it would cost $149 plus tax to program it and get it working. OK. I told them I would come back in a few days to order it. So I went to Revain and saw a keyless remote that I just wanted for my car at a great price of $14.95, ordered it and received it quickly. After reading the full instructions (complete with the remote) it was up…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Hard to say

Felt like an idiot for following the instructions but it works great!

So it worked out great, but I'll tell you. I felt like an idiot for following the instructions you have to follow on the site but still. I've never programmed a remote control for a car, so after the first time I didn't figure it out I thought it was a joke. I thought I was just fucked up. My wife laughs hysterically as she watches me keep opening and closing doors, inserting keys, removing keys, opening door, closing door, but I'll be damned if it doesn't work on the second try. Only downside,

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • Neutral
