I ordered these cables because I needed to upgrade my phone and was frustrated to find that all the cables I had previously invested in didn't fit my new phone. A cable that came with the phone was so short that the phone could not be used while it was charging. These cables are long enough to use your phone while charging. I like the braided cord idea as I have several cords that have broken or split from constant use. Time will tell if Brad will stop doing this. Charge times are much quicker than previous cables, so no complaints. The reason I gave it four stars is because it is made in China and is not interchangeable with my other electrical devices. Companies need to start making interchangeable parts and move away from this throwaway economy.
