This was a replacement cold water valve for a Kohler K454-4S-CP faucet. It was a perfect match AND it included the black slots used at the top to attach the Shaft Extension (87466). My faucet was heavily caked and it took some PB B'laster Penetrant and time to loosen the dirt. I was too weak to take it off with a ratchet and needed a stronger person. Fits well but the old one was brass and copper. It appears to be chrome steel or maybe stainless steel. I replaced the fixed rotating block with this one, then soaked the old block in vinegar overnight before disassembling it, and soaked the parts in vinegar again to remove the calcium from the innards.
