Installation is easy

The new valve spins so freely compared to the old one. My old one stuck because the ceramic core wouldn't stay in place. The new one has a nice solid rubber seal. You can check if the camera above matches the one you're shooting. You should be able to rotate it if necessary. or just leave it and the handle will rotate the other way. Removing both handles in the photo beforehand will help restore their position. Turn off the water. Unscrew the old one. Check whether the valve seat is damaged.

Original part from Kohler!

Kohler informed me that they no longer sell these ceramic valves for the Revival Widespread Faucet (K-16102-4A) so they sent their Ultraglide replacement kits (under warranty) 1131482 (cold) and 1131481 (hot ) but to install them you have to go under the sink to remove/replace old parts including brass valve bodies and hoses. Much easier to just unscrew the old ceramic valve and insert the new one! So I found it here, ordered it and installed it with no problems. And contrary to other reports…

Good product. Read how I deleted the old one.

They worked great in my dripping Kohler spa faucet. The biggest challenge was figuring out what size to buy and then removing the old one. For about a week I tried spraying the old WD40 and then PB Blaster every day. None of them worked well enough to loosen the bolt. My friend had a much larger ratchet than mine I borrowed and it worked, probably because I could get a lot more leverage with a longer handle. Next time I would even try inserting the end of my little ratchet into the tube to…

Significantly reduced flow

Bought this cartridge plus the matching hot water cartridge as my old ones leaked. I got the model numbers direct from Kohler and physically both hot and cold flow fit well. compared to Kohler's 192 oz/min). This is a trickle. When I completely remove the cartridge, full flow/pressure flows from the top of the valve, so the water pressure and flow to the cartridge is fine. I texted back and forth with Kohler support and they were quick to offer replacement cartridges which I have just received…

If you find it difficult to remove the old one, use the "Power "

The valve works great and fits perfectly. However, removing old ones can be difficult, if not impossible, with regular hand tools. The problem is that the entire valve body rotates and you risk damaging supply lines etc. I've seen several people recommend taking the entire valve out of the closet to get to it. I didn't want to do that so I broke my DeWalt 20V percussion gun with a 13mm deep head. Grabbed the threaded portion of the valve underneath the cabinet to hold it in place and with a few

Fits Kohler but can be difficult to remove

Unfortunately my area has pretty hard water so I've had to replace these valves about every 8-15 years or so. But this valve replacement perfectly fixed our stuck bathroom faucet valve. The hardest part is getting the cartridge out of the valve body. My setup is for an "ordinary" faucet with each valve (discontinued Kohler Taboret style) individually countertop mounted. Turning the 5/8" nut on top of the long head just loosens and turns the entire valve body in the countertop. The solution was…

KOHLER Genuine Parts Hot & Cold 2 Faucet Wall Mount

Please Note: COLD - Right Side KOHLER GP77006 RP-Cold. $12.65 HOT - left side. Part number KOHLER GP77005 RP-Hot. $6.34 The image on AMAZON Prime shows the chrome finish has just a glossy sheen and the details are "brass". I used these two hot and cold to replace a 1998 era KOHLER 2 Roman Jacuzzi with wall mount faucet. New brass valves from KOHLER DO NOT have red and blue plastic to indicate hot and cold. Therefore, part numbers are hot and cold indicators. Note that the cold brass valve at…

Perfect for replacing the leaking valve on my old cold side faucet.

This was a replacement cold water valve for a Kohler K454-4S-CP faucet. It was a perfect match AND it included the black slots used at the top to attach the Shaft Extension (87466). My faucet was heavily caked and it took some PB B'laster Penetrant and time to loosen the dirt. I was too weak to take it off with a ratchet and needed a stronger person. Luckily the old valve was removed. If you cannot remove the valve cartridge, you will need to purchase a different model of valve and body…

Did the job. Restore the old one and leave it for later.

Fits well but the old one was brass and copper. It appears to be chrome steel or maybe stainless steel. I replaced the fixed rotating block with this one, then soaked the old block in vinegar overnight before disassembling it, and soaked the parts in vinegar again to remove the calcium from the innards. Lubricated with pool grease and reassembled. I'll keep it on hand to replace the next one that gets too hard to spin. To restore, remove the clamp and butterfly stopper from the top, remove the…
