Rear mount was more difficult

Bought these fenders for my 2018 Ford F150. Included. No instructions.Non-flexible rubber-like material. More like plastic. The accessories in the kit really don't give a shit. It must be screwed into plastic and metal. You must remove the factory nuts. Fenders came with lug nuts (not sure if I'm politically correct, I'll call them that) and a couple of bolts. First I worked on the driver's front. The fenders snapped into place where you "should" put the lug nuts and bolt the fender on. First I used a longer hex bolt. It didn't fit. I couldn't drill through the metal. So I used shorter Phillips head screws. They worked. I was able to scroll the plastic from the inside to use the hex screw. The rear setup was more complex. I couldn't drill holes for the lug nuts and hex bolts and found I couldn't use the factory lug nuts and bolts. The factory bolt was too short to screw in with the fender installed. I removed the factory jam nut and installed the jam nut that came with the mudguard kit. The factory hex worked. I wasn't happy with just a screw and plastic latch holding the fender in place. I remembered I had self tapping screws and used two self tapping screws on the rear fenders. I would have used self tapping screws all over the place if I wasn't so determined to use the hardware that came with it.
