Review on ๐Ÿถ PETFON Dog GPS Tracker โ€“ No Monthly Fee, Real-Time Tracking Device with App Control (Dedicated for Dogs) by William Pacino

Revainrating 5 out of 5

unreliable, poor documentation

This is the third tracker I've tried. I am a retired commercial pilot and I know everything about GPS. I have traveled to 26 different countries with GPS. I live in the South West where it is difficult to find a trio so there is no excuse for not being able to see my pet's GPS location. I used the first unit for 2 years until the company stopped servicing it. This was due to the cellar service they opted for. To be honest I'm not sure if they didn't pay the bill or if it's the cell phone company's fault. I'm out of the cost of the tracker. They gave me the rest of my annual POD3 subscription. I keep using the second, it's the best of the 3 but weak. I can find my pet, but it's not without work. This pet tracker from PETFON sounded so amazing. All I knew was that I would knock the rest out of the water. NO, NO, but hell no!. I am so disappointed. It looks like the company launched it before conducting extensive field testing. There is commissioning documentation, but no actual operating instructions. The tracker's location may or may not navigate on the tracking map. It's unreliable. Testing before entrusting it to my pet, my wife was my pet. When first exiting, the location icon was not moving. The next day I tried again, I had some tight 50ft seats. Today my wife hid it after dark as if the animal had escaped. The position on the map was 100 yards southwest of the tracker. It's just NOT good enough for my pet. OOOOO very disappointed. "BEWARE"!
