**Upgrade - what originally started with stuff falling out after vacuuming now happens every time I vacuum. I've only really used it as a vacuum, but I'm very disappointed that this happens every time. I was so hoping this was just a one off issue as I despise vacuum shopping but unfortunately that is not the case. So far I have mainly used it as a vacuum cleaner. I have long hair that is actually pulled back where the clear waste collection area meets the base. Seems to have been open enough to pull my hair out. It was really weird and definitely unexpected. I ended up having to cut it out so be careful - maybe the manufacturer's rubber pad is preventing suction in areas it's not intended for. I also vacuumed up some sand/stones/dirt/small debris and when I shut off the vacuum it came out of the wand again. Vacuumed the second time with no problems. I wish the chopstick head was a little longer and flatter instead of being cut on an angle. What can I say, in general I was satisfied.
