Review on 🔀 Bronze Zing Ear ZE-268S6 ZE-208S6 3-Speed Ceiling Fan Switch, Pull Chain Cord Switch for Ceiling Fans, Appliances, Wall Lamps, and Cabinet Lights – Replacement Speed Control Switch by John Greene

This part has failed on a Hunter fan. It arrived looking the same as the previous one. I had the same problem mentioned in another review with the wires staying in their holes and making good contact (this requires set screws, not inserts). BUT when everything was ready to be assembled I found that the NOSE WITH THE CHAIN WAS TOO BIG TO GO THROUGH THE HOLE IN THE CAP COVER. I compared the previous dead switch. Same design and even the same ring with a screw to tighten after inserting it through the hole and it fit BUT THE KNIFE WAS TOO BIG FOR THE HOLE IN THE METAL COVER. Instead of trying to enlarge the punched metal hole in the sheath, I tried scraping the plastic grommet off a bit, but this resulted in the wire breaking and leaving its head in the wire entry hole. It was a disappointing experience as I wasted about 4 hours of my life making a storm before I gave up and bought a new fan. GARBAGE!
