My son is 10 so I originally bought a size 10-12. It was too little. He could hardly move when it was on and the sleeves were incredibly short. I sent it back and got 13-14 instead. It sure gets better! There is practically no size difference. It might be a bit longer in the arms, but there's no way this jacket can be 13-14. My son needs to swim in it but instead it only fits him for a few months. He's incredibly disappointed that this jacket didn't work better than me.
