These are very good walking shoes. They fit well, are fairly sturdy and the outsole offers great protection and traction. They are easy to put on and take off. They look great too and my daughter loves the pink color. We did some hikes over a lot of rocks and she walked well and had good stability. However, they are not waterproof at all. We took a walk here where there was some water over the rocks and although the water was never very deep her shoes and socks were soaked.
