Much better than the old valves I've had at home since the 1990's.

They work like a charm. There are three toilets in my house. I didn't realize you had to replace parts. Either way, one day you will end up with a 100% higher water bill than usual. So I assumed the toilets were leaking just because I watched videos on YouTube. There are many videos to help you understand what you need to replace these valves. All you have to think about is turning off the water supply. Make sure it's turned off by opening the faucet closest to this valve. Prepare a new valve, because even if the water is turned off, there will still be water in this line, not under pressure, but there should be a large towel and two adjustable wrenches on the floor. One to stop the valve from rotating and the other to loosen the nut holding the valve. This nut takes a little torque to loosen, but then has to be turned by hand. The new valves are so good and simple that connecting to the toilet is very easy. It took me about 15 minutes to replace the first valve, I was nervous. The last (third) takes about 7 minutes. It is helpful to have someone close to the valve after it has been replaced. Do not open the valve, leave it closed and slowly turn on the water supply. If it leaks then you know you have a problem, I've never done this before. If it doesn't flow, turn on the water supply at full pressure, wait a minute and find where the drops are. There are no leaks, then make sure the valve line to the toilet is connected and secured (this should be done first before you start looking for leaks!) and then you can slowly open the valve and watch for leaks. The nut holding the valve must be sufficiently tightened. So be sure to use counter-torque with the opposite wrench to prevent the valve from twisting while tightening the nut. It's really easy. I am very happy with these valves.
