Okay, I'm buying a star because they wear out too quickly to justify the price. I am adding another star because they have almost no wool as they are advertised as merino socks. My husband has bought a few pairs for work and hiking over the past year - he likes the compression but they don't last long. The heel and toe wear out constantly in a few months, unlike the rest of the socks, which are usually at least a year old. I bought a pair and was disappointed that they are only 8% merino and the rest synthetic. I run in them and yes the compression feels great and the cushioning is great but they are significantly hotter and sweatier than my "real" wool socks. These aren't bad compression stockings, but they're overpriced for mediocre quality.
