I was expecting fluffy, soft flannel. It's the feel of a hard, light canvas. They are also smaller overall than the sheets I usually buy. The fitted sheet barely fit my mattress. The top sheet simply slides sideways over the top of the mattress without having to tuck in any extra length. My mattress does not have a mattress topper. It's 7 tall. I washed the sheets in hot water and dried them. Thought maybe they were just stiff because they were new and a bit fluffy. You are not. I slept on it last night and I don't like that I dropped my expectations of furry ones. But since they didn't fit me, I won't buy them again.
