Very good for small spaces and/or local use. The low setting is very quiet. Bought one for the kitchen and one for the bathroom. It is very easy to set up - you unscrew the bottom cover by hand, remove the plastic cover on the filter and screw the bottom cover back on. About 30 seconds to do all of this. Then you can go. All controls are intuitive.
