I've had iPad cases that cost five times as much but performed about the same or worse. In short, a good case for the price. Pros: - Ideal for iPad 3 ("new iPad"). I've read some comments to the contrary, but that wasn't my experience. - The lid lies flat even after several months of use. I've had issues with some foldable cases not lying flat against the screen over time, exposing the edges and center. The case's magnet holds the iPad at a good angle, and the magnets hold the folded stand firmly in place. This was an issue with a different type of case where the case folded into an insert on the back. Bad: I had two of these covers. The first lasted me about six months, but given the price I ordered a second one. I had to replace it because: The plastic back of the case is a bit brittle. I love my iPad, but I still found chipped corners and a thin spot on the volume knob. Chipped corners kept my iPad falling out of the case. Again, I'm generally happy with the case given the price. If it were more expensive I would rate it 3 stars and would not recommend it.
