Expensive and essential
I spent over $800 repairing a lawnmower last fall. When I called the repair shop this spring, I asked him if any part of his repair would fail, if he would stand up for his job. The answer was no, just a 30 day guarantee, so after a few months I diagnosed the problem myself. Of course I needed a new Igniter ignition module. It took a few minutes to replace this part and the mower started right away. From now on I do the repair myself, it was easy after understanding how the machine works. I think this part was about $13 and if I took it in for repair who knows how much I would pay.
