That seems pretty well done. It has a teflon inlay to allow the wand to slide easily. However, the finished edges mean the rod will get stuck in the tube along the way unless it's practically straight. That basically makes it pointless since I bought it so I could fit it to my car. I'm sure I can get it working with some modifications. Again, with a little effort, I was able to mount the original stick and whistle. As a side note, others have talked about melting the "plastic" inside. I could see it if you put it near the exhaust. Others say the stick came out of the grip. It has a set screw so I'll make sure it's nice and tight.
