I've been using this jug and filter for over a year. I was sure that it was a good and safe filter. However, when I returned from a month's vacation, the filter somehow lost its chemicals in the glass and chemically attacked the plastic. The seller doesn't care, he doesn't check the problem. I seriously doubt this is a safe filter. Do not buy. Complaint to CPSA pending. If you use it all the time, you may think that everything is fine, but it is unacceptable for your health that you drink chemicals from the filter into the water without seeing it!
