It is important to understand that to program these radios you need the updated BF480 software which can be found here https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/rtdshop/BF-888S-Programming- Zum Opening and installing Software.rar requires WINZIP, so you need to download the manufacturer winzipask to get this information. You will then need an image on how to change it from Chinese to English. It took me a week to figure all this crap out so I hope this helps the next person. Why it's all in Chinese in a flooded US market is confusing, but cheap radios take time. Good luck and I'm not a good engineer so asking me anything is not a good idea.
