I bought this 2TB external hard drive for my PS4. My PS4 ran out of space at 500GB and this unit worked great! When I plugged in the USB stick, the system asked if I wanted to format the drive for use on PS4. I pressed YES and it was ready to use. I was able to start transferring saved data from my PS4 to an external hard drive right away. Now I have all the free space I need. The Playstation branded external hard drive cost almost $30 more so it would have been a waste of money. This Toshiba drive does exactly what I need while saving me money. If you need extra storage space for your PS4, look no further.
