Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Efficient Gas-Less Flux Core Wire Welder - MIG-130 Welding Machine with Automatic Feed Unit for DIY Projects by Matt Watson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The manual is useless but the car is better than I expected. Supplied with 0.035 wire.

The included user guide is pretty useless so here we go. To install the spool, first place the spool, then the large round cap with the large end on the spool, then the spring, then the nut. The front panel switches work as follows: min and 1 is the lowest power setting, min 2 is medium low, max 1 is medium high and max 2 is the highest. How high the actual current is, one can only guess. You need a switch with at least 20 amps. Extensions less than 10 AWG or more than 20 feet will most likely result in reduced performance. My rig welds well out of the box from body sheet metal to 1/4" steel which I've tried it on to a limited extent. I've never welded a flux core and it will take practice, but I think this makes a good hobby machine. .

Pros
  • High test scores for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
