Rubbish! I've used this tool on both steel and aluminum, the kit also says it's good on copper. I wouldn't bet on that. The rod is difficult to tighten - the wing nuts should be knurled to accommodate the rod on the yoke and make tightening easier. I tried it twice on steel, twice on aluminum. The tube just slides through the torch, so the first step cannot be completed. The reset allows the flare but not the double flare that I want. I bought this set because it was made in Taiwan, not China. Nowadays it's no better. It's too late to go back even though I only tried it today for the first time. Try the best brand. There's no reason to risk low quality when you need results.
