The ONLY reason I bought this brewery was for the convenience of having a hot beverage when I get up in the morning. Keurig's new breweries don't have a hot water tank, so the brewing time is longer. (About three minutes from pressing the button to brewing a hot 12-ounce mug.) Walking downstairs this morning, I was greeted by an empty, cold coffee mug. It turns out that Kerig's idea of "planned brewing" is actually a "planned memory." What happened in the allotted time was a reminder on my phone with an option to select a reminder to start brewing. For real?! I can do this without paying the premium associated with this "SMART" device. (Not so smart.) One could argue that it's possible to press a button on a phone to brew a hot drink. But keep in mind that you also have to anticipate the preparation of this drink and thus burden the K-cup. Save some money and buy a non-SMART model. It does everything this one does (except the ability to run remotely) for less money.
