I had to empty a 55 gallon water butt. As a woman in my 60s with weak upper body strength, I was unwilling and unable to tip over a full rainwater barrel to drain the water. This product hit the spot - it worked well. I hooked it up to a corded drill, used a long garden hose on the outlet side and was able to drain a 55 gallon rain barrel in about 20-25 minutes. Stop occasionally to clear algae from the suction hose and allow the drill to cool. I followed the instructions (drive side pre-lubricated with oil), tightened the drill chuck with no problem, put the net on the drive side and held the drill with no problem. I drained to about 20-25% before I could tip the keg. Definitely worth the money.
