Effective as a hall runner

I bought it as a cheap runner for the main hall in the production hall at the office. For this use it is effective. At each door I keep a heavy duty travel mat with a 40 foot piece of this roll in between to protect the floor. It sheds a few fibers, but that's to be expected. I can't comment on its ability to absorb oil leaks or anything like that.
