Light weight and reusable. I .

Light weight, reusable. I'm still using the first poured batch. This material is simply absorbed and comes back again.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Appearance

You get what you pay for.

Smell bad. Does not absorb oil/moisture well. Should have received in two days. It took almost a month for the product to arrive. Will NOT buy again.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some problems

Absorbs well but smells a bit like poo

This material absorbs fairly well, better than the cheap kitty litter I usually use but has an earthy smell. Smells a little like feces, but not unbearable. I didn't notice, but my wife noticed right away!

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Only available in white

Maybe Gorilla should stick with the glue, not this product

I guess I'm just used to older materials that are less sustainable but seem to work better. This product works but not as fast as others I have used in the past such as B. Dry Sweep. I had to mix it in a bit to make it run faster, or let it sit a lot longer than I wanted.

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Legacy model

It didn't work for me with used engine oil. Can absorb water.

This was my second bag, the first bag was loaned to a neighbor who said it worked fine so I bought another bag and had a bathtub of used motor oil so I used this Gorillazorb on it. It was a disaster, the oil didn't soak in at all. I had to run to the dollar store and buy diatomaceous earth cat litter to soak up the oil and it worked great. Don't waste your money on this eco-friendly gimmick.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Unreliable

Great value for money on fresh spills

This is a great revamped product that works very well on new/fresh spills. It will not soak up old spills that have soaked into concrete or other floor coverings. Easy to scoop and pour over spills. When cleaning, try to apply to the center of the spill. You end up with a spill that you can sweep up and throw in a container or trash. It actually works way better than expected and the price is great. I've already used about half the pack and will buy more when it's gone.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Good but not great

Great item but doubled in price since 2016 - 4 stars

I really like this item. I love the idea of recycled material and I love the little granules. I think the smaller granules actually go further than the larger granules found in other oil absorbents. When I bought this product a few years ago I liked the price. The last 2 bags I bought came in for less than $8 each and now I am estimating that it costs twice as much as 2 years (almost 3) to stay green? I am now buying another type of oil absorber in 50# bags for the price of one of these 25#…

Pros
  • Sturdy workmanship
Cons
  • Damaged
