Fits snugly on older Mercury 2-stroke outboards. I just bought a used boat that was difficult to start and none of the sensors were working. And as I suspected, replacing the ignition switch eliminated any issues related to throttle and sensor voltage. Installation was easy - the wires are exactly the same color as the factory switch.
