Before my second child was born, I was looking for new durable toys that my little one could (hopefully!) play with while I cared for my newborn. I really like this toy. This is a durable toy with vibrant colors that I know will serve us as a family for years to come. As a teacher, I was very excited about all the educational possibilities of this toy. We sorted by colour, shape and practiced counting with each piece. My toddler loves to pretend to put the pieces on the wrong colored pencils and then laugh when Mom looks shocked. He's practicing counting how many pieces are on each color and has started naming all the shapes. He can learn a lot by playing with this item, which makes this teacher mom happy. Lots of learning and less stuff! :) Basically, this toy is definitely worth the price and won't look like junk on your shelves.
