I mainly use these containers for the food I take to work - breakfast, snacks and lunch, all cooked the night before and chilled. Sometimes I reuse dry snack containers. like chips or dry muesli. I microwave my breakfast and lunch—like eggs for breakfast and steamed veggies for lunch—in containers. You can eat from it in a relaxed atmosphere. You can also store desserts. When I make homemade ice cream, I freeze it in 8-ounce sizes. I don't use them for very liquid foods like soup. The container itself doesn't leak, but I think the lid may not be tight enough to form an airtight liquid seal when my lunch bag is upside down. I also use them for picnics. Convenient portion sizes and portion distribution.
