Easy to apply, dries quickly and works!

I was skeptical despite doing a lot of research on this product as I had never heard of it and tracked my cars a lot. However, I was simply amazed. I bought an e90 M3 from a mate and wanted the paint to be chip resistant on the Philadelphia to Tampa road and I can say it worked for 90% of the ride. I rode it in the car. about 65 degrees outside. It looks like it will drip so be careful but it can wash off the pavement. My suggestion is to lose weight and apply lots of layers as we all hear when we draw something. Allow the product to dry completely before applying the next coat, which should not exceed 10 minutes if applied thinly. I applied about 2-3 coats to the main areas like the front bumper and part of the hood. You can see in the pictures how it looks when it dries, almost like Elmer's glue, and then the matte look it gives when it dries. I didn't glue the edges but tried to make them a bit thicker. Now it held up great for the first day and most of the second day. However, we were driving into Florida as Eta was approaching, so we got caught in heavy rain. This product is definitely water soluble, but not in the way you might think. As we rode, the water began to eat away at the stains and adhesion, and the product began to blister and crack, then re-stick. We stopped as soon as we saw this and removed the article just in case. For this reason I'm deducting a star for the adhesive as it started to peel off. However due to the rain it was very easy to remove in less than 5 minutes in huge areas. The last picture shows what happened to the rain before I took everything off. I would definitely recommend this product if you need to protect your car on a long drive or even on a race track. I warn you that you may have to take it off if it rains. It's a bit pricey so I don't think I'll be wearing it every day at the track or on every ride, but if they're close enough together I'd leave it in the car. I liked the matte look it gave the car and might consider doing a full matte PPF to replicate the style.
