Adhesive works as it should when fresh, when old you can tell by it dries in 1/2 hour. I treat my arrows with Bohning SSR Cleaner/Prep, it helps and is worth it. In my opinion, the opening in the dispenser is too big, resulting in a larger bead than necessary. I keep a rag soaked in acetone to keep the tip clean or it will get dirty.
