This is normal. Firstly, the design is very beautiful and it looks like a polyester fabric. The reality is that you have to put your whole soul into it, and even if you do, because it's a straight cut, it won't sit right at your waist and ride down or rip. I have wrap skirts from another seller and they are more rounded around the waist. This is practically no different from tying a thin towel around the waist with a strip sewn to both ends. It's not very flattering, but you'll get away with covering your waist with a shirt if you're like me in the office, but I'd wear leggings as they don't stay closed as well when a light breeze blows. So maybe recommend for the beach. It's a bummer, it's not really legal packaging. It would be pretty cute to wear if that was the case.
