As an American, I don't like buying Chinese brands if I can avoid it. But the simple fact is that many Chinese brands are now making QUALITY products that rival or even surpass similar American brands, and yet they're still cheaper. These shoes fall into this category. They are very well made, look good, fit great and my 4 year old son loves them. They are very flexible and seem very comfortable. In my opinion they are easily compared to Keen, Oshkosh and Merrell sandals which are more expensive and in some cases double the price. Since all these well-known brands are made abroad anyway, I'd rather save some money. Especially when it comes to boys' shoes, which we all know don't last long, no matter how well made. We'll see how well it holds up this summer but it's been 2 weeks now and it's still in perfect condition. . That's more than I can say about Walmart shoes.
