Review on 🧪 Hanna Combo pH/EC/TDS/C/PPM Tester HI98129: Reliable and Efficient Multi-Parameter Testing Solution by Laura Bates

PROS - all I need to monitor is on a "handle" Very quick readings MINUS - the cap is very tight - it's difficult to smooth it I don't like the fact that you don't change the read mode with MODE but use the SET/LOCK button (?) instead. I bought this gauge to replace an Oakton PH-2 gauge that failed in just over a month. The Hanna counter calculated immediately (remember you need to buy buffer solutions to calibrate) after I followed the instructions. Now I use the meter daily - mostly for PH testing - I have a Bluelab wand which I still prefer for ECC/PPM readings. I think it's great that Hanna and Bluelab give me the same reading over wine or beer cider. One caveat - I did a quick PH test of honey bee forage (syrup) - it took me quite a bit of effort to flush the pH sensor. sugar free. At the moment I give the Hanna combo meter good marks overall.
