The dog chewed on the original remote, tried to fix it, and then it broke indefinitely. I downloaded the roki app on my phone (it's very handy to have this option, otherwise the TV wouldn't work at all). It worked but got annoying between the three kids and my phone, which was also my work phone. I figured getting another remote would be expensive and a hassle. NO! This amazing deal was cheap, arrived early and literally wasn't set up. Insert batteries and aim at the TV! Delighted with this purchase. EDIT - Well I was so excited about this purchase but lo and behold there are issues. If it works, it works great. However, after a few weeks it suddenly stopped working. I thought that maybe it's the batteries (brand new ones that were included) because they act like they're just dead, but then they work randomly so it looks like a sensor issue. Ordered a replacement and hoped it was just defective, fingers crossed.
