Suitable for light routine loads

This is suitable for light loads, as shown in the listing photo, for applications: USB charging, cameras, fans, speakers, low-amp computer equipment. I don't think it can safely handle 8 amps which is 1000 watts. You will not power your fridge, washing machine or microwave through this appliance. In the interests of safety and longevity, I do not push my inverters to their intended limits. I'm even hesitant to connect two AC elements to it at the same time. You should always be aware of your DC battery source and how much power/total amperage is left in it.
