It does its job well
It prevents glare but I believe it has to do with the design of the car. I also have tinted glass on the rear window so I don't have to do it myself without protection. But the main reason I got it is to protect and preserve the car screen from scratches while it does its job. The touchscreen works as expected and when used correctly, no air bubbles remain.
