Review on Dritz 44352 Condensers White 4 Pack by Amy Mcleod

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pretty good but overpriced.

First of all, it's very expensive for the price, but they know they can charge extra because I can't find anything comparable anywhere! Not Home Depot, not Lowes, nowhere else. I really needed them, so I just bit the bullet by paying nearly $10 ($3.17 each) for them. Just not knowing what their names are I couldn't figure out where to find them and I accidentally found them on Amazon. They have their pros and cons. Let me start with Pros.Pros1. Easy installation - somehow. I had full cord blinds so it was easy just ran the top through three cords, tied a knot, picked one to keep it long and cut off the other two. Both parts connected and everything is good! The problem I had was two things: If you have blinds that only have two cords, make sure you tie a big enough knot or it will pull through the top. If you have a cord that is already cut and needs to be lengthened, you will need to skip two pieces, then tie them together, and then screw on. Don't rely on the pieces sticking together well enough to support the weight.2. Looks great! Much better and my blinds are more functional but there is one small catch I will add to the cons list. Disadvantages 1. The first disadvantage is that that with heavy and large imitation wood blinds (as in the photo) you should be careful before pulling the cord. If you have all three lines as you want, everything should be fine. But if you had strings like mine, which I had to lengthen, it won't work unless you tie them all together. If you only have two strands, make sure your knot is big enough so that it doesn't come undone. The product is not of very good quality, so despite screwing it does not hold well. And can be separated if you don't tie the strings together.2. It is clear that the price is too high! Definitely should have been around $5 and I would rave about these things to everyone I know. In general, they work You just need some creative ideas when trying to increase the length of your cable. that it's screwed on doesn't hold it well. And can be separated if you don't tie the strings together.2. It is clear that the price is too high! Definitely should have been around $5 and I would rave about these things to everyone I know.
