Then, after using .oops a few times, they literally fell apart! I twisted them back together, making sure to hand tighten them. And what happened, they broke up again? I used these cable ties to replace the original cracked and falling apart tie rods on a set of heavy 6ft mini blinds. Each curtain is stretched with thick cord, allowing you to raise, lower, open and close the mini blinds. Each mini blind has 4 thick cords that run through the top draw hole.
