Only works with the right lens.

UPDATE. I have a new "Laowa 100mm f/2.8 2x Ultra Macro" lens for Canon, but this device works with the lens, but I get interference between the lens and the transmitter unit. There are lines running through my photos so they can't be used at all. READ THIS, IT IS IMPORTANT. Just make sure you ONLY use AUTO LENSES with new Sony cameras (A9, A7III, A7RIII). I bought one for SONY and put on the "Laowa 60mm f/2.8 2x Ultra Macro" and couldn't sync the transmitter to the flashes. I sent it back because I couldn't get it to work. Then I bought elsewhere and had the same problem, but I put on another lens that works automatically and the flash started syncing normally. Change lenses and stop working again. By the way, this only works with the camera to which it is dedicated. So using, for example, Nikon on Sony will not work. This thing has to communicate with the camera and with the right lens. I just bought "Laowa 100mm f/2.8 2x Ultra Macro" originally for Sony but I emailed them to switch to Canon for the electronic iris and I'm glad I did got because Sony (lens with full manual control) and the flash does not work. I hope the canon version works. NO ONE WILL GET THIS PROBLEM. It doesn't matter how hard I look for it. Not even on the company website.

Pros
  • Supports high-speed sync, first-curtain sync, FE lock and second-curtain sync, and 2.4G wireless flash trigger, access to Nikon camera menu.
Cons
  • So far so good
