I love using these circles for micellar water and removing all makeup. It took me a while to figure out the best way to clean them and remove 80% of the stains before machine washing, but I figured it out. (1): Once you have most of your cartridges, dip them in warm water (I fill the sink) and some cleanser (I like Seventh Generation's unscented cleanser for sensitive skin, and it's a B-certified company!) . (2) Leave it on for a few hours or overnight. (3) Take. a wet circle and put a drop of dish soap on it. Rub it CAREFULLY with your fingers (I use all four). (3) I'll throw it back in the water and move on to the next round. I repeat this until all rounds are completed. (4) Some rounds require more cleaning than others (especially the ones with eyeliner), so I go back to those rounds and leave the rounds that I'm happy with. (5) Toss them in the wash and line dry without the mesh bag (personal preference). Remember to be gentle.
