We have made some bracelets out of this to resemble the popular Purvida bracelets. Some threads were slightly larger than Purvida but not large enough to make much of a difference. I bought waxed yarn from a local craft store. She was so waxed that the bracelets didn't work. This is not wax thread, it is very similar to Purvid thread. It was a joy to mix and match the color schemes. My group of women was very satisfied. We made about 20 bracelets and there are enough to make many more bracelets.
