We have the problem that our pantry is always full and we lose potatoes, onions, garlic etc in our garden until they start to grow or rot. We thought it was a great solution, we put a little cart on wheels on the floor of our pantry and we always know where to look. Place a 10 pound sack of potatoes in a basket. The basket capacity seems to be up for debate. A picture shows 3 bins of 150lbs and other information shows 20lbs per shelf of 80lbs. I think 80 pounds is more realistic, but it's probably too heavy. Contrary to the pictures, you won't be using it to store weight lifting equipment. For fruit and veg storage, it seems sturdy enough to get the job done. I found the basket a bit difficult to load. We don't plan on rolling it too often, but I wouldn't recommend it in situations where you want to roll it under load on a regular basis. At only $42 this seems like a pretty good value.
