Review on 🍳 Cuisinart CMW-200 Convection Microwave Oven with Grill - 1.2 Cubic Feet by Jacob Diego

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money - don't wait forever! Fool me THREE times!?

Unique product that is VERY hard to find. I train both convection and microwave at home, usually both modes every day. Small but useful size. This is my third - the first had a convection sensor, the second had a stupid door latch, these are the ones I keep buying because of the price (low) and because they are so useful when they behave. I'm something of a seasoned micro cooker: I've had several rather expensive Sharp micro cookers over the years and a wonderful little Daewoo that can't be replaced (which turned out to be the most durable I've ever owned!). Since the combination of high heat/fan and microwave doesn't seem like an inherently durable combination, I don't expect such an oven to last forever, no matter how expensive it is to start with. Cost doesn't seem to be a factor in durability and as I said my ovens get used every day. This Cuisinart is definitely worth the hefty (!) price tag from Revain. Just don't wait forever. 2019 - Addendum to the second oven bought in 2018 - Fool me twice, shame on me! Fool me three times - I must be an idiot! After just a year of daily use, the doorknob broke and the entire oven (otherwise in good condition) became unusable. The exact problem occurred once. As nicely made as this thing is, I'm tired of changing it because of a totally unrepairable crappy part. Try Toshiba next!
