Review on Manfrotto 237HD Heavy Duty Super Clamp by James Cowan

Ideal for macro photography on the go!

I always use it with Manfrotto 037 reversible short bolt - replaced 2907 so both ends are tripod mounting screws. I use it for macro photography on the go so I can attach it to the bottom of my camera's tripod screw and the other end can hold my Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT flash and a small softbox. It's great for macro photography (apart from the weight - minus 1 star but it's not designed for that) on the go as it helps keep the flash in place. The product itself will definitely withstand lightning, but that also means the product is very sturdy. I have to bend it with 2 hands and again it is very heavy. I still recommend it if you are interested in macro photography. There's nothing better than that! It works fine. Pros: - Heavy duty - Can support a lot of weight - Rigid - Ideal for holding the flash when shooting macros on the go. Use it for what it's supposed to do, like: B. mounting on a lightweight stand, but it's great for macro photography if you don't mind the weight. Small savings by using a real ring flash for macro photography!
