My 20 year old 12 inch Craftsman band saw was not working and appeared to be a dull blade. I installed an Olson blade 1/4" 6 TPI (80"). The saw worked great, although I did a very simple reset of the guides. Slippage was my biggest issue with the old blade, and this new blade did an impressive job on both straight and curved cuts. I tried a 5" cut with dried Maple Log saw blade for quick resaw test Impressive cut, straight and fast (yes I know a wider blade would be better for sawing, just wanted to see how the blade performed with thicker material .) I'll buy some more Olson blades and get your band saw working again!
