Review on BLACK+DECKER CM0755S, 5-Cup ☕ Coffee Maker in Elegant Silver by Chelsea Hunter

After this purchase I will read the product information more carefully rather than relying on a well known brand. I forgot that there is no automatic shutdown. Is always! I assumed this security feature was included in the price, but it isn't. It is included in cheaper competitor devices without a timer. This block is too tall because the lid adds another 8 3/16" to the closed 10 3/4" block. I can't open the lid under cupboards. My cabinets are 17 1/2 inches from the countertop. The "Pour into cup while brewing" feature doesn't work on my unit, which makes the shutdown caused by the liquid dripping onto the electric stove top even more important. The on/off switch is on the left, as is the large reservoir fill point, which by the way is above the viewing window, which has an odd angle when pouring water with your right hand, giving you an awkward bend in your have wrist or it will block your view. It shouldn't be difficult, but if you're right-handed, it is. I don't like writing a negative review. I like to drink a lot of coffee and I don't think it's cool to start the day with a lot of stress. I switch to a different coffee machine.
