I finally opened it today. Let's start with the positive things. He's so soft! The material is very nice, the beads are evenly spaced so they don't move, it looks like a patchwork quilt. Cons, it doesn't feel heavy enough when I sleep with it. It's heavier when folded, but since the weight is distributed, you won't feel the full weight, which is what I was looking for. I'm having trouble deleting it. Too heavy for a washing machine so you have to think about it and the size is kinda weird. Doesn't quite fit my queen size bed. Too short. All in all it was a good find. I've never seen a ceiling like this before. It's a matter of your preference in a weighted blanket.
